Cross Connection Faith-Based Music Upload Policy

This Faith-Based Music Upload Policy (“Policy”) governs use of the Music section of the Cross Connection platform (“Platform,” “we,” or “us”). By uploading any content, you (“User,” “Artist,” or “Uploader”) agree to this Policy, the Terms of Service, and the Artist Promotional Upload Agreement.

1. Purpose of the Music Section

The Music feature of Cross Connection exists to promote faith-based, gospel, worship, and inspirational music that uplifts and unites communities of faith. It is intended to give artists exposure and visibility—not to function as a commercial music marketplace.

2. Promotional Use Only

All uploads to the Music section are accepted and displayed solely for promotional and exposure purposes.

By uploading, you acknowledge and agree that:

Cross Connection does not provide payment, royalties, licensing fees, or any other form of compensation for uploads, plays, shares, or engagement.
Uploading your content does not create an employment, partnership, or distribution relationship with Cross Connection.
Fees and payments made on Cross Connection are for platform exposure and visibility services only. They do not represent royalties, licensing fees, or ownership of musical works.
You retain full ownership of your content but grant Cross Connection a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, stream, and display your uploads within the Platform for promotional purposes only.

3. Permitted Content

Uploaded content must:

Reflect faith-based, gospel, worship, or inspirational themes;
Promote messages of hope, love, and moral uplift consistent with the Platform's mission;
Be family-friendly and free of profanity or explicit material;
Align with Cross Connection's community and spiritual values.

4. Restricted Content

The following types of content are not permitted:

Secular or non-religious songs with no spiritual or inspirational message.
Music containing profanity, explicit lyrics, or violent themes.
Political or commercial advertisements.
Unauthorized copyrighted material or unlicensed samples.

Cross Connection reserves the right to review, hide, or remove any content that violates this Policy at its sole discretion.

5. User Confirmation & Disclosure Checkbox

Before completing an upload, users must review and confirm the following statement:

I confirm that the music or video I am uploading is faith-based or inspirational in nature, aligns with Cross Connection's community purpose, and is being uploaded for promotional use only. I understand that no royalties, payments, or compensation of any kind will be made to me by Cross Connection, and that any fees paid are solely for platform exposure and visibility services.

Each confirmation will be recorded with a timestamp and stored as part of the user's upload record.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

Cross Connection may, at its discretion:

Remove or disable uploads that violate this Policy;
Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations;
Flag content for manual review before publishing;
Adjust discovery algorithms to highlight compliant and uplifting content.

7. No Religious Discrimination

Cross Connection welcomes artists of all backgrounds and beliefs. This Policy regulates content type, not religious affiliation. The Platform does not endorse any specific denomination or doctrine.

Cross Connection is a community-based promotional platform, not a record label, distributor, or licensing entity. We make no guarantees regarding audience reach, plays, or visibility. All uploads and participation are voluntary and at the user's own discretion.
